Looking For Weber's Mustard

Hey if you are from Buffalo NY and had to relocate I would be willing to bet you are looking for Buffalo's traditional foods. Among many other condiments and foods you may be looking for Weber's mustard.

Yes Weber's brand mustard got its start in Buffalo at a place called The Broadway Market. I will bet you remember the Broadway Market for all the wonderful cuisine that made it is famous and this is especially true around the Easter Holidays. Well in 1922 a couple of fellows by the names of Joseph C Weber and John Heinz founded The Heinz Weber Co. in the Broadway Market. This is where Weber's Mustard and all the other Weber products got their start.

This family owned and operated company is noted for its famous classic yellow color and timeless gourmet flavored Weber's Horseradish Mustard. This classic mustard is a family secret receipt and until the 1980's every jar was packaged and labeled by hand. This was quite a accomplishment if you consider that through the 30's 40's and 50's Mr. Weber was supplying around 300 local mom and pop shops with his famous Weber's Horseradish Mustard and over 80 other products manufactured at the Weber's facility.

Heintz & Weber Co. now ships more than 2,000 cases yearly across America and beyond to former Buffalonians who just can not live without their Weber's. In recent years, the followers of this classic yellow speciality mustard have been introducing it to their new friends and neighbors creating almost a cult following of this classic horseradish mustard. It is now 85 years later and Weber's Mustard is still a number 1 selling mustard in Buffalo and Western New York.
